BIOGRAPHY
John is a FA qualified coach. He has been involved with Whitburn and Cleadon JFC since 1999 when he was involved in the setting up of the under 8's. Over the seasons John has managed and coached the team. He successfully guided the current team to promotion from the second to first division during the 2006/07 season. John is a Sunderland AFC session ticket holder and a dedicated fan. His favourite Sunderland footballer at the moment is Andy Reid. Other footballers John admires are Diego Maradona and Frank Worthington. john likes to listen to Crowded House and Travis and going out to concerts. his favourite meal is mince and dumplings. According to John he played for Barcelona and Real Madrid before joining Whitburn. (he later confessed that the first two teams were on the play station and in his dreams).
