Second Whitburn & Cleadon Newsletter! (03/09/2008)

Well, we had our first football tournament at the weekend, and considering that the boys had not played a match together before we did pretty well. Also Dave did pretty well as the first time managing a team for a match, watch out Roy Keane! Maybe Newcastle have heard, and that’s why they have decided to let Kevin go!

Our league starts for real on Saturday 6/9/08, so all boys and dad’s (and mams as well), need an early night, no night clubbing on Fridays please! Parents may need to bring their wellies if this rain doesn’t stop!

Thanks to Neil (Lewis’ dad) for taking the first aid kit to sort out what is needed (I think the last time it was used was by Florence in the Crimean War!). It would be a great help to Neil if any of the boys are currently taking medication, inhalers etc, that he be informed by the parents.

Managers Report
Good luck for the rest of the session and keep enjoying your football.
