Afantastic start to the season. Three players starting for the 1st time on a surface alien to us, it being artificial but we took control early. Lee Allen netted after 2 mins from Priors through ball. This was quickly followed by 2 more goals from Robbie Campbell and a 3-0 lead was ours after 20 mins. We were guilty of spurning many chances before and after alf time and could have rattled up a cricket score.
Liam Jefferson was the 4th to make his debut when he and Jon Gatenby were introduced in the 70th mon. Lee Allen got his 2nd assist of the afternoon when putting a goal on a plate for Jefferson to mark his bow in style.
Durham tried to compete and our defence had some work to do, but with JJ Jackson in fine form Keeper Fleming had an easy afternoon and 4-0 was flattering to the Soccarena outfit.
